There are two types of mobile devices.
First is those devices which have client-side resources. Examples are
PDAs, PalmTops etc.
Second is those devices which dont have client-side resources.
Examples are mobile phones.
MS.NET Compact Framework is used to develop applications for first type
devices.
MMIT is to develop applications for second type devices.
MMIT is a server side technology. It is ideal for devices that cannot
run stand alone applications.
But does that mean that MMIT is confined only to such devices ?
Can a resource-rich PDA or handheld PC execute MMIT application ?
