Didn't find spyware

I ran the new MS AntiSpyware beta. It found no spyware. Then I ran adaware and it found 37 tracking cookies.

Tracking cookies are a part of how web sites are
designed. They are not spyware. It's just overkill on
Ad-Aware's part. Don't be paranoid. Chances are that if
you are, then your visiting sites you shouldn't be
visiting.

Hi Sharon,

In this iteration of the Beta, cookies aren't checked at all.

I wasn't being paranoid. I am a computer consultant and programmer. The purpose of a beta test is to find out what a piece of software does and doesn't do. I expected it to check cookies, and when it didn't, I reported it. That is what beta testers do.

Thank you Ron, I didn't know that. I was just reporting an unexpected result.

Hi Sharon,
No Problem. It wasn't heavily 'advertised' that they weren't checked :)
