I've been using this beta for several months now and
generally find it quite satisfactory. It runs on a daily
basis and always tells me that it has detected nothing. I
run Ad-aware, Spysweeper, PestPatrol, and SpyBot on an
irregular basis and generally they too find nothing.
Today, however, I ran PestPatrol and it told me that it had
found TrojanDownloader.Win32.IsBar.Gen in a file called
Doc\Owner\Local Settins\Temp\iistall.exe. Apparently it had
been installed on April 8th. In Antispyware's defense, none
of the other programs found it either.

Hi

This great tool is really useful against all junk hidden within temp
folders.

One important issue for many is to uncheck "Recently typed URL" beacuse
often we are to lazy to create a bookmark/favorite.

Or, use Ad-aware (or) SpyBot Search & Destroy.

Ad-aware here:

SpyBot here:

objects in Windows, Internet Explorer with Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Boot into Safe Mode (F8) at Start Up;

Empty your temporary files AND your Temporary Internet Files C:\Documents

and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder ;

Run the scan while in safe mode;

If you are running SP2, open IE--->Tools--->Manage Add-ons, and uncheck any

BHO's that you don't recognize.
