Can't Microsoft just leave well enough alone? Why must Microsoft constantly update and upgrade things? Microsoft, if you stop all the updating and upgrading I'll give you a cookie. Okay? Good.

Web groups have thankfully been changed. Try it out if you are restricted to
web based newsgroups. If you have the option, don't bother with accessing
newsgroups from a web format. Using a dedicated newsgroup NNTP newsreader is
a much more efficient way to access and participate. See my signature below.

Hi,

This interface is so cool and user friendly from the older versions.
It saves me the trouble of entering the user name and email id evertime i
make a reply.
And you can customize the profile to change ur display details.
At least appreciate this update done to the newsgroup which is now a bit par
with the newsgroups reader.
