I accidentally deleted my sysadmin profile on my Windows
2000 system because I was trying to set up a new home
network. What I didn't realize was that by doing this I
would be unable to log into my system at startup. Any
suggestions as to how I can recover my profile to enable
me to log back in, or is there some other way that I can
get in to my system?
If I can't do either, I am in deep trouble because I have
too much data on this system to do a reinstall!

Did you change your computer to a 'workgroup' rather than a 'domain' config?
If so, do you still have access to the network where the domain is? The
admin there should be able to re-join your computer to the domain.

Not sure what you mean by 'sysadmin profile' - you can't delete the built-in
administrator account. If you know the local admin credentials, you should
be able to log in that way...but if you were formerly logging into a domain,
you can't re-join it from home...take the computer back to work.

If this isn't what happened, write back with more info.
