i've notice that the error.log on Microsoft antispyware
folder seem to be growing. anyone around here had this
issue?

error.log can be located on C: hardrive, program files,
Microsoft Antispyware, error.log

In some instances, this file can grow at a rapid rate. I've seen one myself
which was 3.6 gigabytes.

I would recommend uninstalling the beta product if the file is growing
rapidly and you can't manage deleting it regularly.

I have been running this on a fairly clean system running XP Pro SP2 since
01/08/04 and the error log is only 4KB (actually only 3113 bytes).
Scheduled scan runs at the default time of 2 am every day.

I do see a few interesting entries on my system (with 384MB ram):

My impression is that everyone is seeing the "out of memory" errors during
scans.

The vast majority of installs are not seeing the problem I saw, but,
obviously, a few folks are! That file was so large that I don't have the
tools to look at it to see what the issues were. I may reinstall and run
for a short period of time to see if I can collect a sample of manageable
size.

What is in the log? Is it repeating the same event? If it is, can you post
that event?
