Hi, I had an existing outlook personal profile on my laptop. I ended
up importing a pst file into my outlook a few months ago from a work
outlook account. Once all the emails were accessible on my laptop, I
deleted the work pst file that I had imported. All my emails were
still viewable in Outlook.
I recently ran detect and repair and all my email disappeared. I tried
importing or opening all of the pst files that I could find on my pc
(even the hidden ones), but I cannot see the specific folder that I
had imported previously from work. I had assumed that once I imported
the pst file, it became part of the original pst file and I didn't
need the imported pst file any longer. Is this the case? Or, have I
lost that folder?
I really need that folder. How come it isn't there? Was it not
incorporated into the existing pst file when I imported it originally?
Did my deletion of the imported pst file mean that I lost everything
now that detect and repair seems to have removed that folder and those
emails contained within?
Any help would be much appreciated. I really need those emails.
Thanks,
dbt
