Hello Peeps

Please can someone advise. Attempting to connect a laptop using the dialup
connection option of the internet connection wizard. However - the option
is greyed out and unavailable. Any ideas why this would be ? The Laptop
has a fully operational and recognised toshiba software modem installed.
Welcome any advice.

Cheers

Hi

Is the Telephony Service running? From Start>Run type

services.msc

then scroll down the list to that Service. If it hasn't been started, right
click on it and select Start.

Hi

Malke

I've had this problem with my wife's laptop on more than one occasion <BG>.
I've always gone thru services.msc to correct the problem - leaving the
Registry well alone. Difference of opinion between myself and MS :-))
