Dialup Access

I recently upgraded my Dell 4500 Dimension from Windows XP
Home Edition to Windows XP Professional.Since that point,
I have lost access to my dialup option to connect to the
Internet. My modem is working because I am able to send a
fax through it,but my dialup option for Internet is faded
out.
Besides formatting my hard drive and doing a 'CLEAN'
installation, what can I do?

it is best to clean install but that link should work the "workaround" has
worked for many. If you already have SP1 it is an easy reinstall.

SP1 should resolve your issue. There is a workaround in 329441 that should
get you going in the meantime.
