While defragmenting my drive my landlord shut off a breaker without warning me. My computer would not reboot and windows system restore did not work. I used the recovery disk that came with the computer to do a non-destructive recovery. Almost everthing worked except my dialer is now disabled. The icon is on my desktop but does not show in my network connections list. When I attempted to make a new connection for my internet service the only active selection was for broadband the others were greyed out. Anyone know how to fix this ?

It is a bit of a mystery - chucking a copy of the service
pack 1 on the system seems to clear it though....

Not sure if you can still get a copy from MS on CD......
