When I dial up to my ISP, I have a problem of my modem
sending out more information than it is receiving. This
results in pages not being able to load. It appears as if
there is some program using up all the bandwidth to
transmit data. With no browser window open, the tansmit
light continues to stay on, continuously transmitting
information.
I have reformatted my hardrive, reinstalled windows 2000,
bought a new modem, and dialed up from a phone line in a
different location. I have verified that the DNS info.
from my ISP is correct, and have used several modem and
dial-up configurations. All of these tests have resulted
in the same problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
