Hello,

I am using Windows 2000 Professional and nothing has
recently changed on my computer.

After I connect to the Internet through dial-up
networking, the icon no longer appears in the bottom
right corner of my taskbar - by the clock. I am able to
connect to the Internet but I no longer see that icon so
that I can right click on it and choose to disconnect.
I've been restarting my computer instead!

Does anyone know why this would be missing and how I can
fix it?

Thanks so much in advance!

Go to Start | Settings | Network and Dial-up Connections | Right-click on the TCP\IP adapter you are using | Properties | General | Check Show icon in taskbar when connected.
