Hi
I'm having a strange problem with my dial-up connections on my laptop
computer.
If I power-on computer, log into Windows XP Professional, and try to connect
to the internet with my mobile device with Bluetooth or with build-in analog
modem everything works fine. But if I put laptop into sleep-mode or into
hibernation, and after resuming from hibernation that doesn't work. The
computer connects to the internet over the phone line, I also get IP
addresses, can ping or resolve addresses from command prompt, but when I try
to use Internet Explorer or Outlook can get access to any site via name or
IP address. But if I restart computer, everything starts working again
without any problems, until next hibernation or sleep-mode.
I have checked computer for viruses, spy ware or any other malicious
software, try to reinstall all dial-up devices, but without any success.
It's strange becasue only dial-up connection don't work after resuming from
hibernation, if I plug-in LAN cable everything works normaly.
Any help or suggestions what could cause this behavior would be much
appreciated.
Regards,
Miha
