Hi
Somehow the icon(two computers) which tells you what speed you are connected
and allows you to disconnect has dissapeared from the notification area by
the clock, it is enabled in interntet explorer tools options properties and
i know longer get the bubble telling me what speed my adsl is connected at.
Also it is not one of the hidden icons it has somehow been removed totally.
Any ideas whats happened to it and how i may get it back????

thx

Nick

Might I suggest that you try;
*untick* the option / OK
*tick* the option / OK

(works for me when it dissapears)

Tried that but made no difference:(

run regedit and goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows
\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify right click the hive and select
permissions highlight your user name and put an x in deny for full control
and read.
