I use Win98 sec edition.
After upgrading to IE6.0 it won't dial out to make a
connection to the internet when starting IE6.0.
I have an adsl modem connection (default) and "always dial
my default.." flag is activated. In stead it shows a
message that it is'nt connected and that I should press
the button "connect", when I do so nothing happens. The
only way for me to surf the internet is to make a
connection first using the desktop icon of the adsl
connection, and then start IE6.0. Then again it gives me
the same message, but when I press connect it continuous
to load the requested pages.
Is there a cure for this, or is it a plain bug and do I
have to learn to live with it. I'm afraid to downgrade,
God knows what's in store for me then.
