I see no postings from an MSFT after the announcement by
"Jason J. Joyce [MSFT]" <[email protected]>

There are signs of haste in the product and in your post.
is your "diagonostics" a diagonal button?
you meant to post, "an" option?

That particular dialog box can be cut and pasted via right-clicking with the
mouse. Some of the others require you to know the keystroke methods--tools,
advanced tools, advanced file analyzer, for example:

Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C will highlight all and copy, Ctrl V will paste, fwiw.

These groups are peer support groups--don't expect any significant
interaction with Microsoft staff here. There are a number of useful posts
in various groups, though. I see several dozen in this group alone.

NDA binds binds their lips.

I seem to be oozing over into the camp that feels that the Bill
Gates band of bandits are knowing minions of Satan.

If secret source software is inherently insecure, and they
father-of-lies that, then putting GIANT coders on staff as part
of the effort to make it seem otherwise just aids the jive.

The Subjekt of Security arouses Paranoia, n'est pas?

There are lots of issues involved in talking about future plans.

Among other things, a publicly traded company is regulated by the SEC which
views dissemination of "insider information" as a Bad Thing.

Specific information about product plans not released to the world in some
equitable way might easily constitute such information.

Don't blame it all on paranoia or blindly following the company line--there
are real reasons with legal teeth behind them for releasing information
about future plans in a very carefully controlled way.

Those who know are bound not to say for the real legal
reason that they signed a NonDisclosureAgreement. The
corporation has reasons to make its help sign away their
rights to freedom of speech. The one you give and others.
