A friend's computer running XP Home suddenly stopped sending and receiving
email. All OE settings appeared to be correct. The computer still accesses
the Internet fine, using IE6.0. After updating and running NAV, 2 files -
dhtmlaccess.dll and ieaccess2.dll - were listed as infected and quarantined.
I've searched my XP Pro but can't find files with these names. I also
searched MS DLL Help Database, with zero results. Are these legit XP files
that need to be replaced? After that, I'm open to suggestions - is it a good
thing to go ahead and try reinstalling Outlook Express? All suggestions are
appreciated.
Thanks,
OC
