DHCP Server in Windows2000 server, only one subnet. DHCP server is authorized and the scope has
been activated. DHCPDISCOVER are coming in from clients but no DHCPOFFER go out from the server.
Event Viewer does not show any errors. We have tried stopping the DHCP Server service and
restarting several times. We have tried rebooting the machine several times. We have tried
ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew from several clients a number of times. We have tried
uninstalling DHCP, reinstalling it and then recreating the scope, re-authjorizing and reactivating
several times. UDP port scans indicate both ports 67 and 68 are open.
Anybody know how we can get this thing to respond to client requests?
Thanks,
JB
