Hi all

Is there a way of giving out a DHCP address only if the machine is actually
in the specified domain ?

TIA

Craig

Hi Craig. Thank-you for your post.

The Microsoft DHCP Server service does not have the ability to do this by
itself.

The best method to add the layer of security you are asking about is to use
802.1x. Then only authenticated clients will get valid IP addresses on
your network. 802.1x works on both wireless and wired networks.

I hope this helps.
