I have statically assigned IP address. Do I need to have DHCP server and
Client services running on our servers and DCHP client services running on
our client machines? Is it used for anything else that I may be missing?

Thanks,
Jasper

A DHCP server allows you to centrally manage your client's DHCP
settings. It is not necessary but it is infinitely easier to manage
than statically configured IP addresses.

Hi Jasper,

You don't need DHCP server, but you should leave the DHCP client service
running on all clients and servers.
