Can someone look at the above and tell me why is this happening ?
Only addresses that are supposed to be owned by the server are
192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.24(RAS dial-in interface).
Could this be the reason why i wait at the boot screen 'preparing
network connections' for 2+ minutes ?

Hi Flekso,
From what i gather from the link you gave is that there are two
'clients' the DHCP server is servicing: one a normal DHCP client called
administrator1 and other being the RRAS server named server.dugave.inge
which is getting the leases 192.168.0.15 to 192.168.0.24. The RRAS server
usually gets 10 address leases from the DHCP server at a time for its VPN
clients. I don't see any problem here.
Correct me if i am not making sense.

But my ipconfig http://members.lycos.co.uk/muhaha1981 shows only one
ppp RAS Dial In interface(i guess virtual) at 192.168.0.24, don't know
about the rest...

Also could you please explain the situation with one virtual network
connected to the virtual ethernet adapter 'VMware Network adapter
VMnet1', and one real ethernet adapter 'local area connection'
connected to the PPPoE adsl modem.
Should i place the real adapter private address inside the vmnet1 pool
or leave it to automatic private address allocation ? Which address
should be the gateway address for the vmnet1 clients (virtual
machines) ?
