I've got a DHCP problem. The environment in question is
setup with a superscope - 192.168.3 and 192.168.103 on
the same segment. The router is configured as necessary
to support this.
When I try to configure an address reservation for a
printer (in the 103 subnet), it does not work. The log
file shows a "15" message - NACK for the proper MAC
address and the reserved IP address.
If I remove the reservation from DHCP, the printer will
receive a dynamic address from the .3 subnet - so DHCP is
working. If I statically configure the printer with
a .103 address everyone can print - so routing, etc is
configured correctly.
Is there something I am missing regarding configuration
of DHCP in superscoped environments?
Thanks!
