I've been having an issue where certain systems ( non-pc
systems) obtaining an IP address when they boot. I am
unable to administer these machines due to contractual
agreements. Anyways, they constantly pull IP's off my
DHCP server causing my small scope to fill up repeatedly.
To stop this, I added a few reservations to my setup so
that the DHCP server would hand back the same IP address
to the machine while it booted up. Unfortunately, this
didn't work. They still pull available addresses and fill
up the range. Also, the reservation shows (inactive) in
the DHCP console. Any suggestions anyone?
