I have a DHCP relay agent configured and I am having some problems.
The Windows 2000 and Windows XP clients are given the IP address without a
problem.
The problem is with the Windows 98 clients. They are not given any ip
addresses. In the event log I get the following error when the 98 clients
try to get an IP addresses.
Event ID 30022
IPBOOTP was unable to recieve an incoming message on the local interface
with IP address 192.168.6.202. The data is in the error code.
192.168.6.202 is the relay agent for the 192.168.6.X network that points to
the 192.168.1.202 DHCP server.
192.168.1.202 is the DHCP server. All the clients, both Windows XP and
Windows 98 clients that are on the 192.168.1.X work fine.
The only problem is with the Windows 98 clients that go through the relay
agent (192.168.6.202) can't get an IP addresses. Windows 2000 and XP clients
work fine
Any help would be great.
Thanks
