I have a toshiba laptop running XP Media. The first time
I put it on the network, the dhcp hit. I disconnected it
and reconnected and the the dhcp stop working. I can
hard code a tcp/ip address into it and see the network
again. If I try to go back to dhcp, i do not get an IP
address. I have 10 other computer on the network getting
dhcp from an NT server fine. I have even tried it at a
station that works fine but still the laptop will not get
dhcp. The same thing happens on my wifi connect, on
different rounter,i.e., dhcp doesn't work, hard code does
work. This happend to me once before while installing a
dlink routher and they stepped me through a registery
fix. Does anyone know the registry fix?
