I am running AD on a Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2000 Server for DHCP.
I am curious to know why this happends. Every once in a while i get a user
complaining that he can access any internal resource but cannot access the
Internet. We have no restrictions what-so-ever. So to remedy this, i have to
exclude that IP from the pool and have the computer release and renew.

Why does this happend? How can I avoid this?

what kind of answer is that? The one of the machines this was occuring too
was a brand new laptop that i had just imaged. there are roughly 200 other
machines with exactly the same image, so why isn't it happening to others?

Check event logs on server and client, and report back with any errors.
