I am having a problem getting two notebook computers to reset their TCP/IP settings when reconnecting to the network. When I go home I connect to my home network with no problem but when I come back into the office the settings seem to stay set to the home settings. If I go to the command prompt and run ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew I can access the network without a problem. Does anyone have a reason why or where the setting is to fix this?

Off the top of my head you need to lower the time out of the IP address done in DHCP manager (i think)

Make sure the machine is plugged into the network before turing it on. That
should force it to look for a new lease.
