Can Microsoft DHCP be made not to respond to a BootP
request based on a devices hardware address? I have a 75
station Windows 2K environment using DHCP and also have
several non-windows devices that make a BootP request to a
Unix host on my network to TFTP a config file. I need to
have my DHCP server not respond to these devices at all.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

You can do this on a per scope basis. In the DHCP console, right click the
appropriate scope and select Properties. Click the Advanced tab and select
DHCP only.
