Yes, I tried the replies on 10/24 but when the linksys is put into the network no internet. That's why I added the last question below.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We're getting DSL through Bellsouth and want to make it available for multiple users (3). We've got a small network in our office using Windows 2000 Server, active directory, DHCP. We've got a Linksys cable/dsl router (which comes with DHCP).

What are all the settings and changes we'll have to do for this to work and the Win2K server still be the DHCP provider?

Do you know if you can specify a gateway on the workstation pcs even though they're set to receive their IP address through dhcp? Or what would we need to do?

Thanks

Your best bet - disable DHCP on Win2K Server and use DHCP on Linksys.

This is the easiest way to may things work otherwise you are going to have to make
modifications to the DHCP Service which will only complicate things. You can ignore my
advice but you can afford the Aspirin for the headaches you will incur - right ?
