I'd be grateful for some help.
My Win2000 laptop has never been able to access the
internet since trying to configure shared access.
I think the problem stems from the DHCP Client Service
always being in the "starting" status and Netlogon
refusing to start with error code 5737 (which I have not
been able to trace a description for)
I have tried uninstalling tcp/ip and reinstalling a few
times. I have also tried running Win2000 repair from the
OS CD (which solved a performance problem that had crept
in) and done these in various combinations.
The OS had SP4 applied and all updates up to August when
it fell over (yes it has been that long)
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Derick
