Hello all,
I have noticed that, from time to time, dfs resolution does not work
properly.
What I mean is that if I enter "\\mydomain\accounts\january" I can get
there right, but if I type the fqdn version, ie
"\\mydomain.net\accounts\january", the system says "the network name
cannot be found"...
Has anybody ever noticed this behaviour ?
It looks like the problem is the string lenght (the real path is
actually a bit longer), because I can get until say
\\mydomain.net\accounts" but not any further... Again, this happens
only from time to time, not always...
Details: Domain DFS root (W2000 SP4)
Thanks
