This is the scenario, win2k (latest patches applied) domain with 9
sites, each site has a dc with a root replica of DFS, while
troubleshooting a different problem I realized that DFS on server9 was
no longer replicating, the DFS applet had every server but server9, so
I tried to add the replica via applet and got an error saying that the
server had already a replica I typed \\server9\sharedfolder and there
it was some of the newest files were missing but the bulk was there,
interesting enough if I did a search on server9 for some of the files
that are in sharedfolder nothing comes up, is like the folder doesn't
really exist, I used dfsutil and tried /REMROOT:PLCMC2k
/server:server9 /Share:sharedfolder it says completed but yet I can't
re-add the replica
Thank you

You might want to repost your question to

As for FRS replication issues, you should consider using Ultrasound to
monitor your replica(s). File replication can be blocked for any number of
reasons. Having a monitoring tool like Ultrasound will help you discover
problems so they can be resolved quickly.

To get Ultrasound, go to http://www.microsoft.com/frs. Follow the link for
"FRS Troubleshooting and Monitoring." You should see the link for
Ultrasound there. Note you will need to follow the instructions in the
Ultrasound help file (FRS Monitoring Help File) to install Ultrasound - it
requires MSDE (free) or a SQL database.

FRS is used to replicate SYSVOL on domain controllers and DFS root and link
targets.
