DFS Only Works On

As a followup to a question, we are trying to create a DFS
that replicates from a local server that we have in a
datacenter, to remote servers located via T1 connections
at various locations in our area. Replication works well
between servers locally in our datacenter, but
files/folder replications are not working out beyond that.
Does each remote server require being a DC with DNS on it?
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Curtis,

No, there is no such a requirement. Just make sure that your "remote" servers are reachable by pinging them with their
fully qualified DNS name. Also, please check the eventlog on these machines to see whether there is any 13508?
If you reply back with what you have in the eventlog (on "remote" servers) that would clarify the problem.

Thank you for your response. I created the DFS, set
master and enabled replication, and I get Event 13562
Error on the parent server.
