DFS in Multiple Domain tree

I believe it can, and that you can have a DFS root for
each domain. If you have it, check out the Resource Kit
for Win 2K Server -- it would be the fat book (Distributed
Systems Guide), chapter 17, starting page 1001.

One DFS root can be hosted on root servers that are part of same domain.
However DFS links can point to shares across domains/forests.
