DFS has been removed but windows it still showing up on windows xp

I completely removed the DFS from windows 2000 server. In two computers with
windows xp, sometimes, it still showing up the inexistent directories.
Sometimes I restart the win2k, and it shows the correct shared directories,
but sometimes it start to show the old file system.

Does anybody know how can I address this issue?

It didn't help. Both HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DfsHost and
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DfsDriver\LocalVolumes keys are
already empty.

Have you tried rebooting the clients?
