We had a meltdown on our two windows 2000 servers and had to reinstall
them.
reinstalled windows 2000 server on both.
dcpromo'd, got dns running sweet on both
service pack 4.
used net time to sync domain time to pdc
netdiag doesnt have any errors.
the problem is with DFS.
set it up the same with replicas on the other server.
created some links and replicas
DFS started to replicate data ok but then stopped, although the
staging areas are still filling up with data (have set the staging
areas to 80000000 kb) the staging area grows considerably but the data
isnt replicating.
The data we are trying to replicate is on a promise raid array and
wasnt affected by the meltdown.
i have given system and administrators full access to the data to be
replicated.
