I am getting an error message "DfrgNTSF.exe is currupted.
Run Chkdsk/f. I have run Chkdsk each time that is get the
error message. I have also run the defrag program. My
question is.. If the file is currupted how can get a new
uncurrupted file?

Is that an XP file? None such in W2K.
It looks suspicious to me the way it is spelled....

If it is a typo and you really speak of dfrgntfs.exe,
this file is on your w2-CD in the folder i386. To get it back:

expand [CD]:\i386\dfrgntfs.ex_ %systemroot%\system32

But there might be already an updated Version in:
%systemrot%\ServicePackFiles\i386\dfrgntfs.exe
in that case you could:
copy %systemrot%\ServicePackFiles\i386\dfrgntfs.exe %systemroot%\system32
