Just looked in the Control Panel>System>System Properties>Device
Manager>Imaging Devices and found that there is one Veo web cam (which I've
installed recently) and two yellow <unknown devices>, whose manufacturers
and locations are unknown and the drivers for these devices are not
installed (Code 28).
May someone tell me what these devices could be? How can I find out more
info about these devices? Do I need them or they can be safely removed? Any
suggestion is appreciated.

If no description of the devices is given, it is going to be difficult to
find out what they are. I assume the camera is the only Imaging Device of
any kind installed on your system? If so, I would just reboot and see what
happens. If you have no hardware installed (attached via a port of some
kind) windows should not be seeing anything on those ports.

Thanks for your suggestions. I've rebooted a couple of times already with no
change. The camera is not the only Imaging Device. I have a scanner
installed and working fine too, but, strangely, it is not listed. So, one of
the entries could be my scanner, but what's the other one?
How can I check and see what it could be, what port it is connected to?

Can you click on the Properties button while the device is highlighted?
This should tell you what it is, or isn't, as the case may be. Your scanner
should be identified for sure. If it's working, maybe you shouldn't muck
with that for now.

Yeah, this is what I do, just leave it there, but am still curious, what
that could be?
Clicking on Properties provide no meaningful info: Unknown device, no driver
installed, etc. As of the scanner, funny, but it is not listed in Scanners
and Cameras, although it works fine. What a mystery...
Thanks for your suggestions,
Ilya
