Device Manager shows 2 CPU's

Dear XP Gurus,

I have purchased a new pc with Interl P4 3.4 GHZ CPU. for some reason the
devise manager shows 2 CPUon the mother board. can you advise please.

This is normal. Your CPU is capable of "hyperthreading" and as such, XP
depicts it as 2 CPUs.
