Hi
My DVD/CDRW Combo drive recently stopped showing up in explorer,
I checked in Device Manager and There is an error code 37 saying ''Windows
cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware.'' I tried following
the steps outlined in the troubleshooting wizard but this never seems to
help. This is not a hardware fault because there is the same error code for
a vitual drive I have and I also checked that all the cables are still
conected physically in a firm position (which they are).

My Computer was working fine and after it restarted this problem commenced.

What can you suggest I try to resolve this?

Thank you,
Josh

I have that error after the installation of a new mouse, I've also followed
the troubleshooter to it's conclusion. I've uninstalled and re-installed the
software repeatedly. I'd be happy to find out how I can do away with the
accompanying software entirely and use the Windows drivers. Any ideas how?
