Hello,

I'm currently using some iPaq 3650 on a client deployment, most of these
iPaqs have PPC2000 , is there any way to get the device ID for them, or any
other form of uniquely idenfity them?
I know that for PPC2002/3 it's required but IIRC it was not in 2000

Thank in advance,

HI Ignacio

Do you want the serial numeber or user identification that appears on
syncronization?

Hi robert,

Thank for your fast answer, I will like to get a serial number, or any other
token I can use to authentication.

Cheers,

Hi,

As what I need is a ID for auth purposes, do you know if there is a Windows
Product ID in the PPC registry?
I know there is one in the desktop (2K/XP ) at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ProductId

Cheers,

Hi,

I don't. know, but in www.download.com you can search a tool to Pocket PC
that read register. Another is you have installed Embbedded Visual Tools, in
eMbbeded Visual Basic , Tools menu, remote Tools, exist a registry Tool,
that you can create, modify, or delete keys.
