Device failure

I turned my computer on and the following message popped
up as it was booting: Microsoft Windows detected and
recovered from a device failure. Please save your work
and reboot to restore full functionality. What does
this mean? Is it something I should be concerned with?

For most cases, the resolution is to reinstall or update the driver. As an
alternative, use Device Manager to remove the device and then run the Add
New Hardware tool in Control Panel. If you continue to receive this error
code, contact the hardware's manufacturer about updated drivers.
