I have a LinkSys network card - LNE100TX - EtherFast® 10/100 LAN Card - which
work fine under Windows XP, but when I try to use the same card in Vista Beta
2 (same PC, using dual boot), the new OS claims that driver files are missing
and fails to install the card driver although both OSs have access to the
same XP drivers. Have downloaded the most recent drivers form Linksys, but
again the NIC drivers just will not install in beta 2.
Interestingly, this is exactly the same problem I have with a Belkin USB
wireless adapter - Vista claims the driver cannot be installed. Sad really as
I just drilled a hole in the wall to feed a network cable through from the
router thinking that, if anything should work, it would be the network card.
Any help with NIC driver installation would be gratefully received.
Thanks,
Jonathan
