Been off on my travels for what seems for ever.

For the first time in 3years I bought a copy of Custom PC. Talk about information overload. New processor architecture, chipsets, graphic cards etc.

Is there a link out there that can give me an historical overview/update.

For example my last graphic card was a 7800GT. Would be interesting to see in game footage of how graphic cards have advanced.

Any help as per ususal would be great

I'm not sure what link / site would give the most information on it, but I did find this article on the year 2008 in review (written only a few weeks back). That should give you a low down on developments of each bit of hardware
