I really hope someone from Microsoft with a little pull is listening to this.
If so, PLEASE take this into serious consideration. These programs that are
adding menu bars and various other unneccessary sales/promo gizmo's to IE
during installation is getting out of hand! It seems like every time I
install something anymore, this junk gets added to my browser and I have to
go back in and remove it. In most cases, users are never given the option to
de-select it during installation, nor is it even mentioned. It just shows
up! If I want it there, I'll download it, install it, and put it there!

I think I speak for many many others when I say that I would love an option,
just one little checkbox is all I ask, that prevents other applications from
manipulating the IE interface during installation, or at least be promted and
have the option to cancel when such an attempt is made. That would be very
nice.
