Im looking for:

The Device \Device\Harddisk3\FT1

In NT4.

I was sort of assuming Harddisk0 would be Primary/Master, and then
Slave, Secondary Master and Slave in that order, which would leave me
with Secondary/Slave.

If anyone can verify this, that would be great.

I have to repair a RAID drive.

Thanks.

What kind of RAID. Software? Hardware?

If you're using a hardware RAID controller, you might want to look in the
RAID setup utilities for your RAID controller. Quite often there will be a
utility somewhere that will allow you to choose a drive and 'blink' it's led
to help identify which drive is which.

I'm assuming that all the HD's are of identical manufacturer and model,
otherwise Disk manager should help tell you which drive model/manufacturer
each one is, and you simply look at the drives physically till you find the
one that matches.

All identical, and its using NT's built in software RAID configuration
in the Disk Management.

Error log just reports errors on HardDisk3, so just trying to relate it
to which drive it would be on the MB.

Usual setup is :-- Primary-master, Primary-slave, Secondary-master,
Secondary-slave, and usually starts at zero.
