Determine embedded file properties

Hi -
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to see what type of
file (picture etc.) and size has been embedded into a
powerpoint presentation?

Perhaps a third-party utility?

If you want the picture out of powerpoint....and you can select it...

edit > copy
start MS Photo Editor (nothing else will do!)
Edit > Paste
