Detecting Modaless windows in IE

Hi:

Have been dealing with a problem I cant seem to resolve. Using IE6, from
time to time I get websites eagerly asking me if I would like to change my
homepage to their URL. This is a modaless window (fuzzy on the def of
modaless) but basically it does not allow me to do anything until I answer
the prompt.

Is there a way to detect the poping of one of these windows and dismiss it
using VBScript ??? I have the GoogleBar with PopUp blocker but IT cannot
handle this.

Have you tried using a Firewall to block this site.

I suggest mozilla firefox.

uh ... sure, but I think the newsgroup we are in is
microsoft.public.inetsdk.programming.scripting.vbscript

I think inetsdk does not stand for FIREFOX ..:)
