Detect when user becomes active after being idle for a while

Hi,

I want to activate a special app / form when the user comes back to his
computer after being idle for a while. I would also like to find out how long
the user has been away. My app does not put up any UI. I'm coding it in
VB.net 1.1, and I need it to work on Win98 as well.

Hi Dax,

I think you need to implement system hooks such as keyboard or mouse hooks.
The best way for doing so should be writing a old win32 dll as system hooks
are not implemented in .net and call it from you vb code. For this you are
required to use win32 interop, but it shoul work at all.
