Is there such a thing as a "Detect and Repair" option for IE6? My IE seems
sluggish and very slow. I've cleared the History, Cache, Files--EVERYTHING
and it still runs extremely slowly. Any ideas on how to uninstall and
reinstall IE6 or a way to restore it to its original settings without
reformatting my entire hard drive?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Marc

Hi Marc,

Assuming XP: See this KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318378
Assuming Win 9x: (Me/98SE).
Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > highlight
IE and Internet Tools > double-click > "Repair" - you will be
prompted for a reboot.
